FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Should I take the ACT or the SAT ?
Take a full-length SAT practice test and a full-length ACT practice test (on different days). You can then use an ACT-to-SAT conversion table to compare the results.
How are the ACT and SAT different?
The ACT has three sections that test grammar and reading comprehension, whereas the SAT has two. Students who prefer reading tend to choose the ACT, and those who prefer math tend to choose the SAT.
When should I begin preparing?
We recommend that you study for two to three months and take at least one practice test before your first official exam.
Are lessons conducted in-person or remotely?
Each course is conducted online via Zoom; each student must register for a (free) Zoom account before their first class.
What materials do I need?
You will need a tablet or laptop connected to wifi to attend class, along with a notebook to write your notes. Each class and homework packet will be in PDF form.
What happens if I miss a class?
Each class is recorded and uploaded to a private page within 24 hours of the class ending.
